I managed to hunt down and find a 1953 Chevy 3300 that belonged to my grand father then passed to my father who sold it over 20 years ago  Grin . So needless to say I want to do this right! I have no problem with actual mechanical work but, the last time I did a restoration I was 15, it was a 72 Cadillac and I had my father there to step me through it. So I want to make sure I am taking the correct steps as far as the body is concerned. I only want to get this truck primed a friend of mine is doing the paint. I just want to remove rust, fix dings, bondo and get it ready so all he has to do is spray. So anyone who can give me a simple step by step I'd appreciate it greatly. As well as any tips you can provide. Thanks for reading and responding  Laugh

First thing?
20 questions...
What is your goal? Is this a full restoration? cab off the frame?
these things matter if you want a check list to "do this right"
if this is "just a bodywork issue" I would look at media blasting the sheetmetal to find any and all areas that need repair...
