HiI live in England so some parts are hard to find if the major suppliers don't stock them. I am looking for a flywheel underpan for a 56 Chevrolet truck with 3 speed manual and 283 V8. Does any one know where I might get one please. Thanks Steve
Hello Steve, I have been looking at parts suppliers here in the US for the parts, but I need more info... can you look at these links and specify which parts?http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-flywheel-housing-extension-for-cars-with-manual-transmission-v8-1955-1957.htmlhttp://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-lower-bellhousing-cover-manual-transmission-v8-1955-1957.htmlhttp://www.classicindustries.com/tri-five/parts/transmission/bellhousing-components/?p=1&sb=0&r=15
Hi MikeIt looks like I need the middle one, the truck has never had one since I have owned it so i have nothing to compare it to but the description looks fine.thanks for finding these links it is appreciatedSteve
No problem Steve, With the description you should be able to find one here and have it shipped to you. If you need anything else just let me know.
Thanks Mikelooks like classic industries do overseas shipping but thanks for the offer. I usually use LMC, Jim carters and one or two others but none stock the underpan, I had not come across classic before but it looks like they have a good range of stuff at quite good prices. Thanks againSteve
