Hi Everyone:

Not sure if this idea is completely nuts or not.  I'm in OH (43065) and I'm trying to find someone/group who is working on restoring old Ford or Chevy trucks.  I've been away from this type of crowd since high school, but I would like to start getting back into doing something like this, fixing/working on something mechanical.  I thougth maybe I can find some peopel working on a project at home and offer to help out, so I can learn something and get to know some people.  Not sure if this is feasible at all, but maybe someone out there wouldn't mind having some extra help.  I would like to eventually work on something of my own, maybe a 50s F100 or 3100.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestion, please let me know.

well... there are a LOT of car guys in ohio...

there is even the monster mile running there this spring and summer.. http://www.ecta-lsr.com/

there are about 40 car and truck magazines on this site..

you will want to check the features and the tech section of probably a dozen of them for various articles...  you can also use the search window above right..

there are so many articles that you will need to review that i don't even know where to start..
