Feb 09 John did an article on spraying KBS rust seal on an old frame. It looks like he used a small touch up gun that looks like the HF # 66871 that comes with a 1.7 nozzle. Usually primers need larger nozzles than color or clear coats. Using an inexpensive small gun on smaller jobs looks like a good idea. Just looking for a bit more info.

That little touch-up gun is a Chinese made DeVilbiss. It came in a cheap kit I bought at Sam's club about 9 years ago. I've also used it to shoot super thick water based paints and it works like a champ.
It's not all that accessible right now or I'd see what needle and nozzle its got on it.
But yeah, I'm real into using a touch-up gun to save on materials. Not only that they're easy to swing around in tight spots.
Hope this helps

Plus dig this! It's not made for water based and it's rusted like crazy but it still works. Sometimes the cheap junk is best?
