1970 C-10 4x4 Longbed - Frame-off restoration question!

Hey guys,
I know this probably comes down to a personal preference thing, but here is my question:
I'm going to start a frame-off restoration of a 1970 C-10 4x4 longbed, and I have the opportunity of buying a truck with the 4-speed manual, or a different one with the automatic transmission.
Which option would be more valuable once restoration is complete? Any ideas?

Depending of the use for the truck, whether you are towing or off-roading. Put in a quality transmission for the particular use. The auto should be heavy duty for those application.
