i really enjoyed the article by JOHN GILBERT on HOW TO CHOP A TRUCK TOP.where they chop CARMEN PORCO'S 57 truck. i am in the process of having mine done. my question is for Carmen or anyone who has advice. the shop that is doing the work is having big problems aligning up the doors. i think it is because they did not brace the lower cab section(like in the picture in the article) when they cut the top and i think the cab might have sprung or moved out of place. although i am using cheap china aftermarket doors that you get from all the major truck shops i dont think that is the problem. the doors are off about an 1/8 inch on the doorjam where the hinges go. any advice, tips or feedback from anyone on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated
