Can I use an S10 frame and suspesion for my 49 chevy?
What year and model?Who sells the conversion kit?

What engine are you going to drop in? The reason I ask is there is a kit for V8 engines for 47-53 Chevy on S-10 frames.

In answer to your question, Dadstruck, yes you can use an S-10 chassis for your 49 Chevy truck. Contact the folks at www.ad-engineering.com The conversion kit is reasonably priced, and calls for a standard cab longbed chassis. Good Luck. That I believe is the answer the man was looking for Mike!

Thanks, bought a93 frame today for $200.Looking for a cheap rear now, this is going to be alow budget driver, for my first build anyway.

No, an s10 4x4 rear is 5" wider,the yard didnt have a possie,had to settle for an open rear
