1970 c10 4x4 question......

I have a 1970 C10 that is 4 wheel drive and I have been told that this is one of the trucks that was sent from the original dealer and made 4 wheel drive. Is there any way for me to prove this?? I have looked all around online to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
