I'm swaping a 350 into a 1965 Chevy c10 and need to know if there's anything specific that to keep in mind when I do this swap?

You did not say what resides in there now, if a six you`ll need to change radiator ( three row minimum) with shroud, motor mounts, even if you use the rear holes for the motor mounts (on the cross member) you`ll have room to get a HEI distributor in, it will be tight but fit.

Yeah, it's an inline six. What else should we keep in mind with this swap? As far as the motor back. From what I've read, if we were to go with a 700r4 we would need to fab up a x-member but behind that, I don't know. Say we were to go with a t-5, what would be necessary for that? Drivelines; Is there one we could rob from a JY that would be suitable for a straightover swap? If more involved, is there a rearend that we would need to swap as well to complete a conversion such as that? Right now we've got a 1989 5.0 that'll be for the initial swap so that later on when my brother has built up a decent 350 it'll be much much less of a process ha ha!

Installing a 7004-r you`ll have to cut the lip on the body seam right where the trans tunnel starts at the firewall, ( interferance)  you`ll have to have a drive shaft built for it in either case, as well as a trans crossmember in either case, you`ll also have to address the e-brake as it is linked to the same crossmember. You might measure and get a drive shaft from a `67 and newer GM truck and see if they will be long enough with the right universals but that might be a crap shoot. I don`t think that a T-5 will work with the stock seat, as the shifter will be too far back into the seat.

Well, on the bright side... It's free to look. Also, is there a better rear end that is a fairly easy swap that would possibly throw a disc brake conversion into the mix?  Eventually, I'm going to get another one of these trucks as our dad gave this one to Alex.  Also, if he decides to go with an auto.. What would be the best idea that we could be given for the TV cable/bracket assembly?

I`m assuming its still 6 lug wheels, this can be handled several ways, you can purchase disc brake kits for it now as it is, front and rear, 6 lug or 5 lug, or you can upgrade the entire front suspension with drop kits and brakes, or upgrade th front at stock height using complete front suspension from a later model truck with disc brakes up to `86 that is the complete front crossmember with everything attached, just un bolt roll it out under your truck, drill two holes into your frame to complete the whole thing. As far as the tv cable kick down, there are several differant companies that sell aftermarket if you can`t locate the factory unit.
