I've recently bought one in reasonable condition, it's just a bit long in the tooth...
My plans are to put a new rack and pinion steering in, hopefully a power steering pump.
A new diff and rear axle (maybe out of a similar vintage F-100)
A disc brake conversion.

And eventually a new engine (maybe a 351 V8) and auto gearbox (if i can find a column shift that fits)

has anyone tried this on an Inter before?
If you have tried this on a different model truck, how successful where you and do you have any tips/ methods/advice to help me out?

Cheers,
Yeatesy

Sweet ride, do you know what issue your truck is going to be featured in Auto?

I bet it does. Took a sneak peak at the November issue and I didn't spot it in there. Maybe sometime in early 2010. But I cant be sure.
