I just bought a 1952 Dodge B3C and I don't have very much mechanic know-how...But I want to learn and try to restore this vehicle. The body is in decent shape, Nothing major as far as rust holes...Engine Runs great. I plan on making it as original as possible. I need brakes and I am looking for some input, should I go original? If so where's a good place to find the parts. I was looking online and it seems if I had a Chevy or Ford it would be easier but, I have a thing for Dodge Pick-ups.

Having a Ford or a Chevy/GMC does make it easier since there are many places to get parts from. Having an all original would be cool but it may be a daunting task. Google search " old dodge truck parts " and see what you can find. We have many users here that could help out if you run into a snag in your build.

Try going to www.dodgeclassictrucks.com or www.dodgetalk.com ! Either site will be very helpful with tech and info about your truck . I think they also have a classified section , though I'm not sure about it ? Good luck and keep us updated on your progress !

One of the Previous owners modified the Bed to dump...I plan on trying to undo what they did...I like the Idea of it being able to dump but, I don't like how it offsets the bed. Also Does anyone know about the Turning signals? Did this vehicle come with them that way or were they added on later? I was looking at a lot of pictures and I noticed the B3B's didn't have them, This being a B3C maybe it's supposed to be like that.
