Bolt in IFS

I have been looking at installing the bolt in IFS from Bob's F100s. Every time I do a search, the article in Custom Classic Trucks comes up, but not much more.
My question has to do with reliability and safety. So far I haven't found anyone who has used this set up. I have been a member of the FTE community for a long time. That's where I 1st found out about this.
Are there any defects with this IFS? Has there been any failures out there? This looks very simple compared to the other weld in setups. Why am I not hearing much about this?

I remember reading that article for the first time too and wondering how a bolt on IFS can be that good but I cant find any evidence on testimonials of any failures.

Check it out boys and girls, the stock Chevy C10 IFS crossmember from 1960 to 1987 is a bolt-in, so what's the problem?

Apparently these people have never looked at these trucks or they would know about the bolt in system. Maybe they're tryin to think so far outa the box that they're missing the obvious.

The IFS kit that I got from speedway was really a piece of cake to install and it had concise instructions. took me about 2 hours to install, not counting removal of the straight axel and hardware. It's just all the other related steering items that are kicking my ***
