I got a Chevy Scottsdale from my Grandpa when he passed away. It has been stored for several years in one of his barns. I am looking to get it back to original with maybe a few modifications, but I need some tips/pointers to get me started. I am not sure what is wrong with it, but I want to get it running before I get too far into it. I want to keep the engine and transmission so what should I do? Anything is appreciated and welcome.
Thanks for the help and pictures will be up soon. (I hope).

73-87 C10s are easy to find information for. Have you tried throwing a battery and some fresh gas in it? Maybe there's nothing wrong with, your grandpa just quit driving it. Half the time, that's the case.
