John , why don't you offer magazine subscription discounts to forum members ? It might increase circulation as well as forum membership which in turn could increase forum traffic and participation ?

We do! Don't look now but at the right of your screen there's a big red square with a wild looking yellow '40 Ford pickup and a headline reading "Get 1 year for ONLY $15.00!  At $5.99 a copy on the newsstand which comes out to over $75.00 a year depending on the sales tax structure in your state, that's a pretty good deal. The best Custom Classic Trucks' newsstand bargain is the December issue where it comes with a fat full-color 12 truck calendar for free. Another advantage of subscribing is getting your copy of CCT almost two-weeks sooner than the newsstand edition arrives.

As far the numbers go for CCT's website, thanks to you guys www.customclassictrucks.com is always at the top of our company's Y-T-D growth.

And  that's competing against 70 websites on a monthly basis.

Oh yeah, and name for me three other magazines where you can contact the editor seven days a week? No really, let me know, am I the only dummy?

Have any of you guys subscribed off this website, or did you use the blow-in cards that come in the newsstand edition of CCT?

Hey John ,I am a CCT subscriber ( Jan2010 ) and my CT subscription ran out with the next to last issue . I have a question for you - I bought the last issue of CT off the newsstand and it contained a card with an offer for the 2 magazines ( CCT and CT ) for only $ 19.95 . Since my CCT subscription runs through January of 2010 , will this additional 12 issues be added to the end of my present subscription ? Also the card quotes one year ( 12 issues ) of each magazine . Wasn't CCT at one time only published every other month or was it CT ? Or did I just dream that ? Refresh my old fading memory !

Holy crap, the next thing you know they'll paying people to subscribe to CCT and CT. It's interesting because you can't mail a package of blank sheets of paper for less than it costs to subscribe to a magazine.

I wish I could answer your question about the 12 issues being added to the end of your current sub. I'll see what I can find out.

Yes, before I was the editor of CCT it was originally bi-monthly and then 9-times a year. It's been a monthly since before I took over as the editor on June 26, 2006. Maybe a year or so I'm guessing.

Here's an update for you guys as of June 8. 2009. CT's web subscription offer is up to $22.95 a year. CCT is still at $15.00, but I don't know for how long. As you all know both magazines sell for the same price on the newsstand.
