I'm in the process of restoring an 1963 F100 Shortbed. The bed that is on it is off of the 57-60 era regular bed as it seems that 1963s were either unibody or stepside. I want to return the truck to a stock look, therefore I want to get a stepside bed for it. Does anyone know where I could buy a complete bed? My local junkyards do not have many classic trucks. Any help would be appreciated.

I could be wrong, but your '63 could have come from the factory with the Styleside bed you are talking about. I know there was longbeds for sure. You can buy complete Flareside beds in pieces from any number of CCT's advertisers, or search for a used one that isn't rusted half to death.

1964 was the first year for the styleside bed, before that ford had the awful looking refrigator bed on there trucks, they used this bed on 57-63 trucks and IMHO they look Wrong!

Hey John!  hope to see you again @ the western nats on the 20th.
I was with Dave Garber last year.... I had a blast on the tour of your place, so did my son.  Thanks for that!
