After almost 950 posts on CCT's forums, I've decided to see what would happen if I started blogging each day instead. The only way to get an accuarate reading on this is to give it one year and then look back at the numbers. I'll be back here on CCT's forums after March 24, 2010... If that's not a Saturday, or Sunday. I don't think I'll work weekends on here anymore either.

That could or could not raise site traffic for the blogs. Blogs in general for the classic trucks sites seems to be low so it might just be the demographics of this market. If blogs and forums start to flex I'll let you know.

I don't care one way or the other, I just want to see what happens. Actually I do care because I feel this will help me to use my time better. I usually spend at least two-hours a day 24/7 keeping an eye on the forums, and it's really beginning to undermine my efforts to keep the quality of the magazine up. Which as you know directly provides content for this website. See, I just wasted 15-minutes when I'm supposed to be finishing a story for the June issue. You watch I think our readers on here will really dig some of the things I post in my blogs. It's cool stuff from behind the scenes of producing Custom Classic Trucks magazine... If not there's always that job at the Huntington Beach Wal-Mart pushing carts.

Aww maaann! Anything but pushing carts at WallyWorld. I'd give ya a job helping me out in my shop, but I wouldn't expect anybody to leave sunny California for Ohio.

I think you think get at least 1000 posts before you take a break... Your posts will be missed but I will be reading the blogs as well.

Thanks Mike, you're right I shouldn't stop until I reach one-thousand. That said, It's going to take a lot longer because I really have to cut down on how much time I spend away from working on the print version of CCT. As soon as we get the image posting problem cleared up I hope to post some interesting blogs. And thanks for helping the guy with the rusted '63 Chevy.

Yeah, Tony there's been few coughs and sputters getting the show on the road, but if the work SIM's IT guy ( Jolie, he's the best!) made a difference, I should be able to post photos with my blogs. I got up at 4am this morning to work on the June '09 issue, but thought I'd take a little break (funny, this feels exactly like working on the magazine)and let you guys know I'll be giving it a shot later today.

Anyways, talk to y'all later

Question I once looked up what a blog was and the definition never made any sense to me, you guys know me, can you explane it so even I can understand it and participate. Thanks guys (you can play together just kidding).

KKB,

Hey you can log onto the blogs right now and leave a comment. My blogs have getting off to a slow start due to problems posting the photos, but it will happen. In fact you could beat the Specialist to the punch, to be the first person to leave a comment on the '68 Jimmy we drove out of the orange grove.
