Yep, this weekend is  the time for the BIG 3 San Diego swap. Just the place for that old stuff you need for your classic truck.

Do some planning and come to Hot August Nites in Reno this year, starts July 31 to Aug. 8, which is the same day the Bonneville Speed trials start(Aug. 8) on the other side of the state!! So buy some parts at the Reno swap meet and go racing!!

Bonneville, maybe. Reno for sure. Yeah, I'll probably buy some parts or maybe another truck in Reno. That's after I sell the truck I'm driving up there that is.

Stop by in the swap meet, red trailer in the center walkway with a hundred or so inline intakes and just as many Mallory distributors.

Haven't done the Reno run for a while, that would be cool.

It's always been my dream to hit Hot August Nights, haven't got the timing down yet, (completing a ride worthy of the event and all) and it's really close to the Autolite Nat's  @ Infinion in Sonoma and I've only missed one race in the last 10 or so years, all the way back to the Fremont Drag Strip days, it's high on the gotta do list for sure, but can't miss the drags. Your never the same after experiencing the Nitro Cars in person. (get goose bumps just thinking about it!). We'll see though.
Hey THESPECIALIST, your motivational kick in my butt to get my truck done worked, It,s awesome weather and I'm heading out to it today and all week most likely. Thanks You Ole' Pirate! P.S. got your email pics, tx think I have it now.
