You are Hella funny. You, Me & Payne need to meet up at one
of the Truck shows around Central California area (I have trouble
traveling) and have some brew haha's we would create pandamonium
I'm certain of it. Also I've been doing side jobs (tune-ups,
maintenance and other stuff for a bunch of my friends who are
doing alot of traveling for the holidays), so thats keeping
me from being lazy. And last my computer is running so pitifully
slow, that I can't stand it. Has to be this site, no problem
with any other sites. I'll go to Classic & check it out.

Late, Bob
P.S You could use "SLEDGEOMATIC" too. Thats another good fit
for you. LOL

The simple solution for your slowness, get a Mac. PC's blow chunks I dont have any problems here at work. Maybe your internet service provider hates CCT.

Vegas X-Mas eve. & returning the day after new years. New Years
in Vegas has gotta be off the hook.

Same difference. So where you been buddy? Almost missed ya. where you letting your fingers heal from that straffing run using you fingers on these truck sites? LMAO! You had a hell of a run there for awhile. Anyone out there changing a water pump, If your using an after market, check all locations of the holes ie; altinater bracket mounting and accessory bolt-ons also pay special attention to measurments of the bosses. Example the new pump I purchased has the power steering pump cradle bracket boss 1/4 - 3/8inch furthure away from block and now my pulleys don't line up.

Yep I'm back out of my hole. Hey, about the water pump and power steering problems, I could write a book on it, the combinations are huge. The problem is the aftermarket parts don't even come close. I've spent many an hour in the TRUCK SHOP in Orange updating them on the lastest issues. There are guys at the swapmeets that deal in nothing but bracket combinations for the front of Chev motors, belief me I have my share of time working out the combination of water pump pulleys, crank pulleys,AC,powersteering, long and short pumps, it just goes on and on.
If you keep mix-matching the parts you will be in THEROPY for the rest of your life
PS. A straight gacket comes with all the adjustments you need KKB

I know all about straight jackets, I had the misfortune of realizing the anguish of them via the Fresno P.D. holding tank. Seems the disagreement we had was taken out of context by them to the extreme. (those lying bastards). I have learned my lesson regarding arguing with law enforcement, NEVER GO TO FRESNO!!! They have to be the crookedist Police Department I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. But back to the subject, Yeah, This Milidon water pump is a pain in the butt, had to grind down the boss for the power steering cradle 3/8inch to line up the pully, ( at 8,000rpm close is not good enough ) so theropy not currently required

Actually that pump your using has limited mounting positions for brackets. I had to modify one on a small block Chev to take the right brackets to line all the pulleys up.
As I have said many times in the past, the people that sell all the aftermarket parts are not experienced in building custom vehicles. Most of the guys are salesman.
Hopefully some day soon I can recoupe the time and money I have invested in building a vehicle that actually rides and tracks down the road and is a shear pleasure to drive, and where not talking high dollar aftermarket parts. Where talking about a affordable vehicle that has been put together with a combination of ready available parts that actually work in combination with each other.
As you can tell buy the Forum there are a lot of beginners to the game looking for some advise on how they can get started and what is the cheapest way to go to get started.
It is a passion, you can get caught up real easy. Just look at the time I get caught up in the forums, there's no money for me just the pleasure of helping someone with a problem they can't solve. Sometimes when I don't see a reply to a post, I will just reply to start the ball rolling, those guys are there waitng for just someone to reply, it can be disheartening to see that nobody really took the time to help a fellow trucker in need. THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT.

That was the most profound statement I've had the pleasure to read in a long while. And you hit right on the head. I try to reply to anything I have some experience & knowledge of because your right and hopefully some part of my input gets them passed the detail holding them up. So keep up the good intelligence effort partner. It's ironic you mentioned this, I just looked at my tech questions I posted last week and 73 people checked it out but no one posted any info, but I'm optimistic that someone will gemme some feedback. Thanks again from me & I'm sure several others for the time and energy you apply to help us out and I mean that sincerely.

Respectfully

KKB.
