I know absolutely nothing about cars.  Zip, zilch, zero. But I live near a '56 Ford F-100, and I love it.  I really want it, but I don't know if I should buy it.  I don't know what the price range is for those trucks, or what I should look for when I go back to look at it again.  Any hints that would be helpful please?

xoxo

Big-Window, small-window? How much are they asking for it? Look for rust in the cab corners, and around the passenger side vent that extends down to the lower hinge pocket just for starters. Post some photographs that would help.

Well if you know nothing of cars then your in the right truck forum; silly rabbit cars are for kids. JK maybe with some more info someone could help you with a price quote.

Buy it and live the dream. There is nothing like owning a classic truck, especially a 56f100. Take a mate with you to check it out.

Also check for hardware trim and grill. This stuff adds up when you have to replace. And the box and tail gate if its all beat up or not.

I guess that would get you.
How zit going mate. Good to see you on the forum. If you have long hair and a lot of female bits.... the ticket is in the mail.
Got a lot of mates down south in the land of little Johnny....... whoops that's right he's not there anymore,........It's that Rudd fella.  Has anybody given him a nick name yet?
I guess that is a big window 56 you have, I can't quite tell by the picture, my eyes are fading at my age. My brother is hounding me for one of those. I told him wait in line like everybody else.
Well there is no dingos or blowies here but there is a few blue and red heelers and a odd cockatoo. No prawns but plenty of shrimp. But plenty of cheerleaders to ROOT for their favourite team. If only they new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately (for you that is)no girly bits, just a bald head. And no she is not a big back window model but I sure do love her just the same.
Hi from the land down under.
PS administrator you churn out a couple of great mags. CT & CCT of course.

I guess I can still accept the fact of her being a little window, than again it is a 56 and also it is driven by an Aussie. As for the bald head, I'm with you there.
Anyway on another note ( you know robbing the thread again). Just got back from SEMA in Vegas........lots of nice trucks.

Yeah, I just got back from SEMA too. Yep, lots of trucks, and it was a great show. Gas at the 76 station in Barstow was $2.41 a gallon! The weak coffee was a buck-and-a-half though. Dang near fell asleep going down Cajon Pass... Oh yeah, and small-windows are cool.

Well I had my break at the Big Fat Greek Cafe, the home of the huge thermoneter. I needed it since of the hour hold up with the roadworks. I guess the guy with the lollipop forgot to change it to GO.
Oh, yeah, GO SMALL WINDOWS, especially for us white boys with bald heads, keeps the sun from reflecting off our heads. Me and EFFIE can relate to that.

How was the Greek Cafe? I was going to go there on my way back from SEMA but never did.

To bad I didn't take a photo of the thermometer, that would be a great photo to put up on the site.
