can anybody tell me where I can get a new bed for a 72 chevy short bed. I saw one in the classic truck mag and it was from lmc but I called them and they said I have to make up the order myself but I really don't know all the parts I'll need so if anybody knows where I can get one with everything in kit that would help a great deal thanks jim

Yes I did but they sort of made me feel like I was a pain in the butt. I can't understand it after all I would be spending about $3000.00. They said they would get back to me but that was 4 days ago. Thanks for your reply Jim

We ran a segment in our Get Shorty series in CCT, and listed every part number from LMC Truck, and showed step-by-step how to put it together. Now if I could only remember which issue it was in.

Can anybody tell me if a late model bed would bolt up to my 72 chevy C10 short bed. Maybe I could save some money that way. Thanks Jim

Shoot, if you don't care what it looks like then you can save some real money and turn it into a flatbed. Two sheets of plywood can't cost that much. Throw on a set of mud-flaps, and call it done.

Early Classic Enterprises has a short bed kit. And www.lmctruck.com has pictures on the web of the parts you need.
