Let you in for free? I've published a ton of stories on the Pomona swapmeet, and I've always had to pay... I think there's some on here somewhere. Farm Truck Fever Pomona should Google it.

Yep, Googled it and it came right up. Funny thing is though, my byline or photo credits aren't listed. There was a time before the internet, and the big push for free content to sustain it, I would have received credit for my work.

I guess you would have retired on the credits, judging on the gate takings of the event. As for the farm truck, thats were they all turn up, judging by the prices you'd think they had struck gold, and thats the ones that you can drive home like the Flinstones.

Yeh it is that time again, out come all the farm trucks.  Maybe a could find that 1956 big window Ford pickup truck for $500, you know the one that is fully restored and is the original owner.
Or maybe that late model corvette running gear to suite a 55 chevy for $200........hang on......wake up.........your dreaming again.

Yeh but just think of it, then I can sell them for 10 times the money back to the banana benders or I will swap for some more Bundy Rum.
You know EFFIE there was a hell of a lot of deals there today, plus you would think it was the middle of summer.

Just sat here watching the highlights of the last day of the Dakar, man that is some race and spectacular scenery. Hummer came in third.
