Whoopee, it looks like I just hit post number 750.
I think I'm going to take a little break. Happy Thanksgiving you guys. I would have liked to have made it up to Canada for theirs in early November... maybe next year. Anyway I'll talk to you guys in a week or so. I'm on my way to finish the February 2009 issue of CCT and burn some $1.99 gasoline.

I'm with you there on the $1.99 gas, I burn't it up coming from the Goodguys show in Phoenix. Sure beats the $5.00 a gallon I paid in the land down under a month a go. Oh yeah have a good thanksgiving, what ever that is, oh yeah that pilgrim thing. I guess the best we could do is steal a turkey from the English and get sent down to the land of the big red rock. Now we spend our days robbing classic trucks out off the land of the super power, I guess we will never learn.

Isn't great filling up for under 2 bucks. Maybe now I could afford to wash my POS. Just hope it stays this may for a while, but somethings will never last... oh well.

December 1, 2008 and the price of regular in So Cal is around $1.85 at the cheapest stations. Who could have ever guessed it would go down this far? Pray that it lasts.

The only down side right now is diesel going for about $2.50, but how many people have diesel powered classic trucks?

Well you may hate to hear this but I have one, it is under construction at the moment. It is a 1947 Ford snubnose,I have all parts includimg chassie , motor and cab. When completed the list goes like this: 1947 ford exta cab COE, running twin turbo 3208 V8 Catapillar with 10 speed, riding on a P30 Chevy chassie, independant front suspension running full airbag suspension,rearend-twin disc brake double boggies. Behind the cab, but not attached is a custom built box made from a 47 panel truck, but steriod out to 6 ft inside and extra wide to cover the duellies, all is removable be hydraulic jacks. Problem # 1, getting the time

V8 Catapillar, sounds like an engine from a tractor.

Okay you guys enjoy it while it lasts. I saw gas for $1.68 last night... too bad I'm broke I would have bought some. I hear the cheapest gas is in WY. If you're looking for bad gas, eat at Taco Bell.

$1.68 you must be at one of those no name stations like Thrifty or USA gas. And your right John on enjoying it while it last. I bet by March it will be back up to $4.50...Oh the horror.
