hopeing for some help in lower my truck. would like 2 in drop spindles if possible, and shackles or a flip kit for the rear. cant find anything in the "usual" suspension magazines or anywhere else for that matter. no one drops old dodges. thats why i want to. its a 78 half ton with a slant 6. yea i know....a slant 6. but its only got 62000 original miles and in real good condition. so someone help me out if ya can. stoned45@sbcglobal.net  drop me a line if ya got some info.  thanks

Flip kit? If your frame is stright like chevy you should be able to make a kit from mid 70'S chev work. Just make sure you mark the axel center line before you cut anyting. You can buy spring perches from J.C.Witney in the jeep section or check with Bell Tech. As for the front I have seen were they used a Dakota front cross member or sub frame. and If you check I think they make droped spindles for Dakota. Check with Bell tech?

PS. you can find spring perches were they sell trailer suplies. depends on the width of your springs.

It can be done and isn't as hard as some may think (although not as easy as a Chevy). Ask around for my "Ram Lowering Chart" on Moparts.com or Ramchargercentral.com
The site that all my pics were on has apparently crashed but the Truck section on Moparts has a pic or two. Anybody suggest a free/low hassle pic-hosting site?
