57 chev, sorry im not to savy with the chat room stuff,i just put a new distributer and converted it to an alternator so its runing like a champ, but on lowering it im just wondering about new springs or knocking out some leafs or what

How about a 3" dropped axle up front and a flip kit in the rear, or you could try some later model spring hangers for the rear and set them on the frame so you could achieve your desired drop? Lets get a little creative here. Lowering your truck is not rocket science
