Hi I have a problem. I have a 66 half ton short fleetside pickup and my frame is shot,I have a friend with 1970 short box frame will it fit and work. Yes they are both chevrolet. Thank you..  

It's not an exact fit, but it will work. The '60-72 Chevy trucks share a lot of the same frame dimensions. Thanks, What a relief, I was worried you might be another one of those guys that wants to put a John Deere frame under his '62 Studebaker, or something.  

The frames should be the same. What will be diferent is the cab and box mounts. The box mounts might be the same. You have to put them side by side and measure. Remember you can just change the front cross member to get disc brakes.
