Shop wisely, there is some real junk out there. Half-price parts are usually not half as good. If money is an issue stay away from bagging your truck, just lower it.

Thanks guys, Been the cheap rout on a lot of things, learned not to get anything cheap. However the system I was refering to was manufactured by a reputible American firm using Firestone air bags etc. Air ride tech is good but way over priced in my estimation.

A lot depends on what kind of truck you are looking to bag. CPP has upper and lower control arms for the front and trailing-arm kits for the rear for Chevy.
KP Components has a lot of stuff as well. The best place to find ads for air-ride parts would be to pick up the latest issue of Mini-Truckin' and start checking out their advertisers. You know the drill, ask what brands they sell and how much. You might even recognize the name of the place you were looking for.

Just remember when airbagging that you know what ride height you want. Airbags ride like hell if they are not set the the right height. I feel that way too many companies sell airbag systems but don't tell you the short falls.Don't use the small airbags you won't be happy. The 2500/3500 lbs are not bad, but I used the 5000 lb telescopic on the last job. They are worth a lot more money but the ride is completely different.Especially on a truck when you maybe carrying a load.Four link rears work well with air bags. If you still use the leaf rear, they really only work well as a spring helper. In the front try to use a suspesion system that gives you maximum a-arm length, this will help in the ride. Too many people use the small length system, causing the front to bounce too rapidly, thus getting a hard ride.Especially if it is not tuned to the rear suspension.

I've used the firestone double bellows in my van the 3500 ibs. But I left the leaf springs in, they are only used as a helper because of the weight I have in the van and also that it is lowered 5 inches. The front is running a beltech system. Thats lowering spindles and lowered coils. It rides real nice up the front. The thing to remember is not to use severe lowering spindals, check to make sure your lower A-arm is not below the rim, otherwise increase the diameter of the rim.Otherwise you could flip you vehicle on the freeway if you blow a tire. I myself do not like to go lower than 2" on the coil otherwise it affects your ride. I've used the Firestone 5000lbs telescopic on the rear of my Starsky & Hutch, with no coils, mind you I have 15x10 US indies, I needed the clearance.
