I have a 46 chevy 1/2 ton pickup, however, the steering arm appears to be incorrect, I know the spring is wrong-and the shock has been removed to make room for the linkage. Any pictures of what it should look like?

A good Chevy or GMC shop manual / parts manual with an exploded view will show what you need to know. Of course if someone shot a photo for you and posted it that would be great.

If we don't have any tech articles on it, try to Google an image. Its a gamble but it may pay off.
