Hey guys. New to the forum as of right now. I have a 71 C30 long wheel base cab and chasis (14000#GVW). It's got about 50K original miles and has never been registered for use on public roads. It spent it's life as a Lav Truck for an Airline up here. Engine is the 250 with the Muncie M22 behind it. I know all about the H072 and that you can not find alternate gear sets for them. I'm not sure but I believe mine are way up in the 5 somethings. She screams and I can't get any top end from it. The thing is I would really like to keep the original rims as I have a full set of brand new rubber that came with the truck. Does anyone know if the bolt pattern is the same from the Eaton to a Corporate 14 bolt? I have a couple kicking around and it would probably be easier to swap one in, in place of the Eaton and maybe throw gear vendors OD on it. The plan is to shorten it up, and put a regular 8" box on it. I am going to use an old box floor I have as a template and make a new floor out of 1/4 diamond plate. The I will add original box sides, wheel wells etc. I have a 96 7.4L to put in as well and it will be fuel injected. So if you can find it in there the question was about the rims. Any other comments/suggestions are welcome. Thanks
