I'm currently driving a '93 Dodge Dakota Sport, ext. cab. It's a little dinged up and rusty, but runs really well. A guy I work with told me yesterday that he's got a '47 International body that he's basically giving away. He said he thinks it would fit on an S-10 frame, which is obviously smaller than my truck, but he's not sure that's the size frame it'll fit.

Does anyone know if it could work on my truck?

I'm not a big fan of goofy combos like a Studebaker pickup on a John Deere frame or the one you are talking about here. I'd sell the Dakota for what I could get and beef-up the I-H frame with a Fatman IFS or one of the others and do the same on the rearend. For the engine I would look into what I-H had to offer besides the flathead six. They had V8s but it would be an expensive rebuild I think. Gee, I guess I didn't really answer your question. Will it work? Sure anything is possible. Will it be worth it? I doubt it.

Yo Dinged Dodge! How much money do you have, and how bad do you want this truck? I'm always up for a challenge. That's what I do best. The dare to be different challenge has always been intriging to me. If interested answer back on this blog.
