Hello! New to Forum today!
I have my pappy's '66 GMC 2500 Stepside (9') 351 V6 (siezed) not in running condition and currently in a field. Little rust. Want to mod and rod this thing and looking for some ideas. A few of my own:
Cut down the frame to accomodate SB from '95-'99 Keep frame length and install alum flatbed Add duallys and HD axle Keep bed and restore 350 FI
Any ideas are appreciated. Also will need to find replacement parts as this thing hit a few trees in its day. Hood is the size of a school bus. You get the idea.

First off, welcome to CCT's forums. Leave the right bed on it,(forget about that weird stuff) and drop-in a late 350 TBI with a Gear Star 700R4. Call Painless, or Howell for the wiring harness to adapt. You'll have a nice truck when you're done.
