I had a guy build me a 383 stroker for my suburban. He built it using the stock 350 heads and intake and it doesnt make more power than my 350. All the "motor heads" that I talk to say that the heads are the worst flowing heads that gm made(my truck is a'90 chevy suburban tbi). So, I bought a set of vortec 64cc heads and vortec tbi intake. Im hoping this will make the power that I need .(350 hp, 375-400ft lb tq) can anyone see any problems that I might have in this project? I keep reading something about plumming an egr valve or something like that. I do run a set of edlebrock shorty headers it has a mild comp cam and flowmaster muffler. any advice would be helpful, thx!
