This thread is of interest to me as I have a 56 F100 small window and am planning to do the IFS setup at some time in the near future.
The tenative plan is the Heidt's x-member and then wildwood spindle and brake with hub setup using Air Ride tech control arms, shockwaves and sway bar. Has anyone used a similar setup and would they recommend it? Who's Rack should I use with this setup? Am I inviting trouble using components from different sources as I plan to?
I know this is subjective and open to opinions and everyone has a different one so, I hope to not be opening a can of worms here.

BacaGriz,
I'm slammed trying to finish up a Volare tech on a '53 F-100 for the December '08 issue of CCT, but I'll try to get back on here tonight, and take a shot at giving you some answers.

f-this,
Yeah, I checked out the website right away. Neat stuff... a lot of work. From memory there was a school bus yellow '65 Ford on there too that was fair impressive. I can be reached at john.gilbert@sourceinterlink.com please don't send large files they choke the email. kb.s are best.
