Come check out the newest Custom Classic Truck articles with a 1966 Ford F100 and 1963 Chevy C10, check them out and lets hear what you think. I totally dig the C10, the paint job is killer. Think a mini van could pull that color off.

Uh, Mike, That's a '63 Chevy. Maybe pointing this out isn't a good way to introduce Mike Payne, but now is as good a time as any. Myself and the staff of Custom Classic Trucks would like to welcome Mike, he's our new Web Producer. For those of you that have been emailing, or calling me about the distorted photos on here, I'd like to let you all know that it ended when Mike Payne took over. Check out both "Miss Daisy" and "Barbee's Doll" and you will notice absolute undistorted perfection. Not only did Mike do a great job on these two new features that were just added, he has been going back into the archives and fixing the mess he inherited... Oh, and in case some of you are new here and wondering, I'm CCT's editor. Thank you.

PS: Yes that blue would look great on a mini-van!

Your right on the 63 part, what can I say its been a long day and the eyes are quiting on me. Correction made on the 63, like it never happened.

John: It is due to the recent article on "Miss Daisy" and the much improved pictures that I have indeed subscribed.   I struggle with what seems to be a lop sided balence between Fords and Chevy's    but it looks like you are going in the right direction.  Great to see a slick in the pages...........Good job

"Miss Daisy" is only one of many "Slicks" I've run in the last two-years since I've been CCT's editor. If you can't find some back issues from Sept. '06 on, my first issue as editor, then Google Custom Classic Trucks, and the year F-100 you are looking for. Mike Payne, our new WP is going to be digging into CCT's archives all the way back to 1994 and digging up all kinds of cool archival stuff. There have been several issues in the last year where I put more Ford features in than Chevy to see if anyone noticed... I'm sneaky that way. I appreciate you subscribing, its job security, and I've got to tell you this a great job for a classic truck freak like myself to have.

The Chevy looks great but I think 26 inch wheels is a little overkill... but hey, what do I know?

Oh yeah, Mike I think you need to paint your van that shade of Blue and learn how to drift.

Thank you for the kind words about my 63 C10 on the June cover. The article turned out great! Thank you CCT for putting my truck on the cover. www.MarkBarbee.com
