I just put A 79 1/2 ton chevy subframe under my 64 1/2 ton chevy the motor mounts are to tall the fram is an inch shorter in hight than the 79. any body have an idea. I wander if an s10 v6 mounts might work.  

What's the problem with using the mounts from the 64 ?  It ain't that big of a job to modify the mounts from the 64 or the 79. If you could handle the suspension swap, then I'm surprised that the mounts have you stymied. C'mon man! put your thinking cap on and just Git-r-done!
