I have a 1955 late-edition Chevy long-bed, step-side truck. I have installed a TCI mustang II IFS, with wilwood 12 inch disc. I just ordered a Currie 12 bolt rear diff, with 11 1/2 inch Lincoln roaters. Overall length at stock spec.

My question is this: I would like to use smoothie wheels as wide and tall as possible, with medium/low profile radials. Who can tell me what the widest wheel/tire combo, at what offset, will allow the fattest thing I can stuff under there without clearance problems; while also keeping all sheet metal stock? I would also prefer to not go bankrupt doing so.

I appreciate any and all help you can give me. Thanks.

Talk to Frank at Stockton Wheels, or Mike at Wheel Vintiques. Both of these guys are sharp as tack when it comes to knowing this stuff, and remember you get what you pay for. Cheap wheels are just that... Cheap!
