Does anyone know where I can find the metal track for the molding around the inside of the cab around the doors on a 49 chevy truck? I tore mine out then after realized that I couldnt find any new replacements. I looked in a few catalogs and found none at all!

Hey Sticks22! I don't think you're gonna find them tracks at any restoration places. you're probably gonna have find some from another truck cab, not being restored. Give John Budd a call at 1-330-947-2002 in Deerfield,Ohio. He's got a yard full of these trucks and is fully capable of removing them so they can be installed in your truck. Tell him Smurf from Canfield sent you. Good Luck!

Hey guys I'm in Charlotte, NC. and guess what, they the Internet here. Anyways, I suggested Tucker's because they deal in used parts as well as new, and I've had guys tell they got them good used parts at a good price. And its not a bunch of rusty stuff, they are in in the middle of the desert.
Later, I'm heading to Knoxville tomorrow with Brent at Fatman Fabrications for the F-100 Supernationals.
