i just bought a 79 K10 couple of months ago. And Im redoing it from the ground up. Im currently working on replacing the window seals in the doors. The Question is How do I install the weather strip in the wing window easily. I cant seem to get the strip to fit right. I bought the replacements from LMC and they seem to be to a half inch to long. Was that the first mistake. And to replace the entire wing window with out rebuilding it from brothers or LMC is 199.99 each. I've fought these things and my arms hurt. Any tips would be great. Thanks guys. Im new to the classic truck scene. Im a minitrucker. One piece window kits starting to look good right now but im on a budget.

4X4eh? I wish I could tell you, but I've never changed the wind-wing rubber in a C-10 door (C, K, same thing) I'm sure there's some kind of trick to shrink it, or maybe you don't have it completely seated. Don't tell them I'm the one that sent you, but call LMC and see if they tell you what the trick is.
I have installed one-piece windows in '73-87 doors, that wasn't too hard. And oh yeah it sounds like maybe you're an ex-minitrucker. Not putting 'em down, one of my trucks is a laid-out S-10.
