I heard from a few places that they are going to sell them, what do you guys think? DO you think they would be worth it? They could be cool projects. From what i understand they were all actual running trucks when they first started out.

The trucks are being removed from all Old Navy stores and the logos are being removed prior to them being taken. The trucks are not for sale from Old Navy but are being removed by people that will probably be selling them, If you contact your local Old navy you may still be able to get one for free. They have a national vendor picking them up but if there is a local person to get them out t immediately they are doing it in some cases. I am waiting to hear the confirmation on mine.

The main reason we require the logo to be removed I'm sure is for liability reasons. But like I said contact your local store it may not be too late. If you get them direct from the store they are FREE!

I hope you took a look at it before you got it. I just put 100 miles on my truck, only to see two trucks that didn't have any floorboards or bed floor, all the cab cornors were bondoed up and just was not worth the $2500 @ that they wanted for them. They might be worth a little bit, but not much to work with on either of these trucks.I'm hoping that they got some better ones. let us know how yours is.

I spent the last 3 years looking over this truck while managing the store that it's been sitting in and when I found out that I could get the truck I went over it for a while to see what it would take to do something with it. It's not perfect but it is definitely better than i expected. Some of the funny things about it, The bed has a sheet of plywood screwed down, plywood spacers between the bed and frame, the wheels were held on with regular nuts the steering wheel is of a late 70's pickup. I am sure as I strip it down I will find more interesting things. I will be documenting the tear down and build up with pics and I will start a link on thread on that when I do.

What trucks are these . . .? I've never been to an Old Navy, are they display trucks with clothes in the back? Or . . .

Yea they are display trucks, they usually had a few shelves surrounding them or they had stuff in the back of the truck. In the store they were all blue and usually had the logo on the door. But from what i hear they are going to be taking the logo off

I am about to start tear down and start work on the suspension but I am waiting until I am sure what direction I want to go I am leaning towards going street rod but I have also thought about going more to the original look but from the looks of what I need to do street rod will be the best route. And yes before any of the trucks left the store all logos had to be painted over.
