I don't really want to sell this complete rolling chassis for a '56 F-100, but I need to get it out of sight before the city gets on my case. It came out of a '56 Big-Window with a Y-Block V8. Right now its set up for a small-block Olds, but easily could be retrofitted to accept another Y-Block. The frontend is a pretty fresh Volare with new disc brakes etc. The rearend is a fairly fresh Ford 9-inch with a brand new rear disc-brake conversion. There's a picture of this chassis in the January issue of CCT with my Barn Find '56. I want $2,800 or best offer. Compare at $9,000.

Email me at: john.gilbert@sourceinterlink.com if you are interested.

Okay guys, scratch this one off the list I rented a garage to keep it in. Checkout the April 2008 issue of CCT we are working on it right now (3-weeks during January) and you'll see I wasn't kidding when I said compare at $9,000. If anyone has a '53-'56 cab let me know I'm going to building this frame into a truck.

Thanks,

Oh yeah, and the Olds is coming out, and I'm dropping in my Y-Block out of a '57 T-Bird with a Gear Star AOD behind it.

Too late to change my mind now, check out the stories on here, the chassis is now a half completed truck. There's a story on the cab coming out in the July 09 issue.
