Hey Nick,

You know, I just thought about something. Instead of trying to find the extra time to help you figure out which parts you are going to need for your '56 you can pick up the January 2008 issue of Custom Classic Trucks with my '56 Ford in it.

I'll be back on here later with the on-sale date for the newsstands. Meanwhile how about checking out the December issue that is on the newsstands now complete with CCT's 2008 calendar.

Okay Nick, it's time rock & roll. I'm going out into my garage right now and installing an MSD distributor into my 272. The tech story on it will be in the February issue. I'm using a '57 T-Bird Y-Block engine that's out of my other '56 to provide good close up photos.

Valve-covers. Re-pop finned aluminum T-Bird  ones if you have the bread.

Hey Nick, good to hear from you, you're hanging in with us!

Okay, on the serious side. tell me what you are running for an engine? Plus please tell me as much as you can about your truck. The more I know, the more I can help you. In fact pm me your serial number and I can tell you a lot about how your '56 came from the factory. even which factory it was built in. my Both of my '56s were built in the San Jose California plant....talk to you later.

Oh yeah, and forget about a generator. Get a n alternator. Painless Performance or Powermaster for new. If you are taking the low-buck route snag one off a late model Ford. You have a 272 right? Get me that list, we'll go from there.
