I'd like to see dump trucks, cement mixers, and ice-cream trucks. These are my favorite types of trucks because they are good.
Also I would like to see the type of trucks that have lettering on the doors, or as they say in typography, type.
Okay Lewis, get out the wierd-o filter before anymore of this dumb stuff get's posted... there's a ringer loose.

Okay, you guys are going to dig this. We just got a CD from a freelance photographer in Okotoks, Alberta of a cement mixer that has been turned into an ice-cream truck. The cab is a Canadian built International with a '69 Fargo drivetrain.
After we get our tremendous response from this lame thread, I'll book it for the cover... Sound good?
Oh yeah, and it has a Simpsons - Sears gun rack... Anyone know what that's about?

Hey John this really sweet roach coach comes by our office every morning, I think it would make a sweet feature, but on a side note i still think you need more El Caminos

Ok IF this is a serious thread and at this point I'm not sure.
How about 60-62 Suburban/Carryall 2 or 4wd. parts for those years are dificult to find and would be more that simple buy it here article. I'm sure that some custom work would be required.
Regards!

Mpayne,
I didn't mean any disrespect by asking if this was serious. So I hope none will be taken.
John,
AS to the request for 60-61 Suburban/ Carryall the reasons I requested this is first off there are not may out there that are worth restoring. 60-61 had the pod type hood in addition there are some things that you just don't have to contend with on trucks that are newer. IE: Torsion bars front and rear, HYD clutch cylinder which is hurdel to cross if your going to try and keep the hyd clutch and change over to a conventional master cylinder and brake booster. Additionally the rear floor in these truck is not metal it is actually plywood not oak planking. Third and not least by any means is that the wrap arround windshield which in it's self presents a problem at almost 500 for a new glass. The motor mounts for this truck are not available for a V8 conversion. If you can find a used set you will certainly pay for them they are not easyt to come by.
Body mounts and such are not all the same for pickup and suburban so fabrication work would have to be done.
It's a great project for a guy that has a big shop and lots of money and when completed it's an amazingly cool vehicle.
I would love some ideas from the guys that build for a living as to how to make it all work for less than the price of a small house..
Regards!!
