I am trying to install a Chevy LT1 engine into my 1935 Ford Pickup but am having difficulty getting it to fit. The AC is in the way, and I am looking for a different place to mount it. I already have to remove the AC to install the motor mounts. Any ideas where I can find the parts I need? This is my first full restoration project and any tips or tidbits of advice would be appreciated.Zack
I'm new at this also with a lt1 and a 57 chevy trk.but have been on a search, looks like street and performance.com have a lot of useable mounts to move things around, for this type engine.
Who's A/C are you using?
look on ebay under lt1 you can find a bracket that relocate's the a/c from the bottom passager side to the top driver side for about $200.00
you can also buy a a/c delete bracket for now for $40.00. Then you can run the engine until you get a different bracket.
