Thanks Lewis. Subscribers got the September issue last week, but August 21 is the day this issue hit the newsstands. The first place I would look for it would be your local Wal-Mart.

I know Custom Classic Trucks is hard to find on the newsstand because I get a lot of email asking where a person can find it.

There is some hope though, as some of you already know we are no-longer owned by Primedia. The new guys are Source Interlink and distribution is what they do big-time.

The Gear Star 4L60E install in the '79 C-10 in the September issue is the truck I drove on Americruise. The only problem I've having is the right rear tire seems to be spending a lot of time engulfed in white smoke, and seems to be wearing a lot faster. I guess I'll have to call Corky Coker and see if he has any idea what might be causing it, yuk, yuk.

 Hello guys I've been looking for that September 07 issue everywhere and can't find it.  Any suggestions?  Tried Wal-mart and acouple of other places and no luck.  

Im surprised that you didnt find it at wal mart. Did you check borders or some place like that?
