Working on a 68 C/10 Longbed frame. After many long hours of sanding and grinding, the frame is in need of some modifications. Saw a picture of a C/10 frame that was completely boxed. How do I bolt on the power steering box, tubular upper A-arms, tubular transmission mount, and flat center crossmember after totally boxing the frame? I stripped everything off the frame, and really want to box it since I have gone this far. Any help is appreciated. Selig

I just finished boxing my frame on a 1952 Ford F100. I have filled in all rivet holes so that the frame is smooth. I preplanned what I needed as far as what was being bolted on. My four link rear end is a bolt on. So I used a hole saw bit and cut holes on the inside of the frame to access the bolts. In order to achieve the smooth like I want I order some plastic grommetts to plug in these holes from mcmasters-carr.com. I also used some stock rod in small pieces and welded them on the under side fo the inner frame of the hole to be used before I boxed that section. I will then go back and drill and tap these holes. Hope these ideas help. I have pics if interested-jonesy2244@hotmail.com. Later!
