I am working on a 1970 Chevy pick-up. I have taken the front grill and cut the center portion including the headlights out of it. I want to have a phantom grill built to go inside of that chrome frame and I am going to put Lincoln Flip-up headlights into the phantom grill. Where is a good place to contact to have this grill built?

I don't know if they are still around or not, but Trenz in Bakersfield, California at one time made Phantom grilles for just about anything.

Why don't you give it a go at it yourself, and see what you come up with? There used to be a company called Stull Industries in Corona Ca. that built custom grilles. I don't know if they're still in business or not. I used to work for them when they were in BuenoPark,Ca. back in 1982. Custom grilles are not that hard to build if you have an imagination and are a bit of a fabricator. Just go for it man! If it doesn't turn out like you want it, at least it ain't a safety issue such as steering or brakes. You're only hindered by your ability, or in some cases the lack thereof.
