I name my cars an truck.. "Frances" is the trucks name.
Like..
"Callie" is the name of my 1922 Dodge Rat Rod.

I have a 55 gmc I used a 80 camaro rear end with drums 62" from out side drum to drum  worked great? I put a ifs from flat-out engineering and a fatman four link in rear and 1995 lt1 engine?

hey cadman
in your pics of frances you are using the stock lower u-bolt brackets.  did you have to grind them out to get them to fit the 12-bolt? im doing the same thing in my 55 but the axle tubes are a larger dia. than the stock rearend.

I plan on doing the same thing to my 1947 chevy truck, does anyone know if the 47 and 55 are the same frame in regards to size?
